Former WWE star Matt Riddle made an appearance via video during today’s NJPW New Year Dash!! event, issuing a challenge to NJPW WORLD Television Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi.

While no date was announced, Tanahashi accepted the challenge noting that he would have to do some research into Riddle ahead of the two facing off against each other in the future.
