Speaking through his official Twitter account, former ROH TV Champion Matt Taven noted that he has not signed a new contract with Ring of Honor and that both sides have parted ways.

“Hey guys just wanted you to hear this from me. I’ve decided not to re-sign my contract with @ringofhonor and part ways for the time being. Thank you so much to everyone at @ringofhonor … Wrestlers, office, staff, crew… The last couple of years have been amazing thank you!”

Taven had been with the company since 2012.
