In a video posted to his official Instagram account, Mistico II addressed his recent departure from the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion in Mexico.

Mistico II stated that he feels sad to have made the decision to depart, but that he will begin looking for new opponents and a potential new home, but that as of now, he is an independent free agent.
