New Japan Pro Wrestling could be heading to the United States in 2017 as the current plan for the promotion is for them to run the first two nights of the 2017 NJPW G1 CLIMAX tournament in July at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

Representatives for the company, which included NJPW star Rocky Romero have been in Long Beach recently doing ground work for the dates. It will be interesting to see if the promotion make the announcement during Wrestle Kingdom 11 on January 4th as that is traditionally when New Japan Pro Wrestling announce their major dates for the year ahead.
