New Japan Pro Wrestling crowned a new NEVER Openweight Champion during today’s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 event at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan as Tama Tonga defeated Shingo Takagi to become the new Champion.

Tama Tonga’s victory brings an end to Takagi’s 68-day reign as the Champion.
