WWE have signed 22-year-old Canadian Olympic Weightlifter Isabel Lahela to a developmental contract with the company, according to a report from Squared Circle Sirens.
The report notes that Lahela won the 48kg weightlifting Junior Ontario Championship in 2014 and that along with being a weightlifter, she is also a professional model and personal trainer and was a professionally trained dancer for 15 years.
Lahela had been training at Superkick’d Wrestling in Toronto, Ontario, Canada since August under the guidance of professional wrestlers Ashley Sixx and Kris Chambers and was part of a WWE tryout camp back in September 2016 that featured Kimber Lee and Heidi Lovelace amongst others.
