Former GCW World Champion Nick Gage made an appearance following the Minoru Suzuki vs. Jonathan Gresham match at the GCW Highest in the Room event, trading blows with Suzuki.

Following the altercation, Gage challenged Suzuki to a match on October 23rd in Los Angeles, California which Suzuki accepted.
