It is with deep sadness that we have to report the passing Joe McCarthy, also known as Tommy Criswell, who passed away this past Tuesday due to a Stroke. Joe was 82 years old.

In 1966 McCarthy defeated Lorenzo Parente for the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship, which he then held for three months before losing the championship to Danny Hodge.
