While professional wrestlers will always argue and bicker amongst each other backstage at shows, a backstage altercation at last night’s Ohio Valley Wrestling Saturday Night Special between Mohamad Ali Vaez and Cliff Compton, better known to WWE fans as Domino nearly turned in to a physical incident.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Mohamad Ali Vaez was believed to have been upset regarding the finish of his match against Compton, who came out victorious, that he started to loudly complain and voice his opinion towards Compton upon heading to the locker room. The main reason for the match between Compton and Vaez, was a match remembering Veteran’s Day, where Compton was fighting for the honour of one-legged veteran and current OVW superstar, Michael Hayes, who was previously injured at the hands of Mohamad Ali Vaez.

When Hayes come out to distract Vaez, Compton low-blowed Vaez and pinned him for the win, however when Compton returned to the back, Vaez ripped in to him in front of the locker room and the locker room had to hold back Cliff Compton, to ensure that no physical incident occured. The report notes that there was a lot of talk about the incident amongst the wrestlers who competed last night and that if Vaez was upset at the outcome, last night’s event, of all the days, was not the time or the place for him to vent his frustrations, especially to Compton, who is considered a veteran on the OVW roster.
