Police have determine that WWE women’s wrestler Paige should be charged with battery in regards to the airport incident involving Alberto El Patron, but it is up to the State Attorney’s office to make a final decision on the matter, according to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet.

The report notes that a rep for the Orlando Police Department stated, OPD detectives have found that probable cause exists to charge Saraya Bevis with Battery (Domestic Violence). Detectives have sent the information to the State Attorney’s Office for review and the SAO will determine whether to file charges in the case.

Meanwhile, in response to a request from PWInsider.com, the Orlando Police Department stated the following regarding the incident report, “The report is not available because it is still an open investigation. But what I can tell you is that OPD detectives have found that probable cause exists to charge Saraya Bevis with Battery (Domestic Violence) Detectives have sent the information to the State Attorney’s Office for review and the SAO will determine whether to file charges in the case.”

The investigation into whether Alberto El Patron may be charged has not ended. Global Force Wrestling have indefinitely suspended El Patron until the situation is resolved. In regards to Paige, if she is charged, she would also be indefinitely suspended from the WWE until the situation is resolved, while if she is convicted, then she will be immediately released by the company.
