– WWE officials are going back and forth on whether to have CM Punk challenge several of The Undertaker’s former WrestleMania opponents to help build towards their match at WrestleMania 29 on April 7th. Names under consideration over the coming weeks are said to be Randy Orton, Kane, Kevin Nash, Mark Henry and The Big Show, while Triple H and Shawn Michaels are not options under consideration.

– As mentioned yesterday on the website, WWE superstar Rey Mysterio met with Dr. James Andrews on Monday under the belief that he had once again torn his ACL. Speaking through his Twitter Mysterio noted that he is currently wearing a dynasplint brace to prevent getting surgery. As of writing, it is unknown as to how much in-ring time Rey will miss due to injury.

– WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin is set to land his own TV show on CMT according to a report from the Hollywood Reporter who note that CMT have agreed to a pilot episode of “Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Ranch,” a show which will feature 6 contestants battling against each other in a series of challenges at Austin’s ranch in Texas. – Randy Orton is expected to be turned heel after the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view, with many feeling that they’ve done enough with his character and that the crowd are not as vocal as they were with Orton in years past.

– Following Jack Swagger’s match with Hacksaw Jim Duggan on last night’s WWE RAW, Duggan, Sgt. Slaughter and Dusty Rhodes signed autographs for fans off-air during the commercial break.

– WWE film crews are reported to be following Bruno Sammartino throughout WrestleMania 29 week in the build up to his WWE Hall of Fame induction. The footage will be used on an upcoming WWE DVD release later in the year. As mentioned previously, Bruno will be appearing at the WWE Hall of Fame, WrestleMania 29 and WWE RAW the following night.
