In an update on the failed explosion at the end of Sunday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view, which the company played off in the post-show media scrum as something that Kenny Omega did not build properly, a report from The Wrestling Observer reveals that Omega was said to be furiously upset about the ending not coming off to plan backstage after the event went off the air.

Additionally, a report from Fightful Select notes that a third-party rigging crew brought in by All Elite Wrestling were responsible for the botched explosion, but that the third-party rigging crew were not very apologetic about the way that things happened in the closing moments of the pay-per-view, which in turn led to pretty significant heat on them as a result.

All Elite Wrestling addressed the botched explosion during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, with Eddie Kingston stating that the anticipation of the explosion made him reminisce about his time spent in prison.
