WWE have signed top independent wrestling prospect Blake Christian to a developmental deal with the company, according to news first reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select.

Christian, who has made appearances for IMPACT Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Game Changer Wrestling over the past year, including tonight’s Triple Threat Revolver at IMPACT No Surrender, fueled speculation on his future after losing a GCW Championship Match against Rickey Shane Page at the GCW Fight Forever event, a match where the speculation was that if Christian won he would become Champion, however if he lost, he would leave GCW.

Christian is the latest name confirmed to have signed a WWE developmental deal, with other names to have reportedly signed deals including Christian Casanova, Anthony Henry, AQA, Parker Boudreaux among others.
