WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and WWE NXT superstar Matt Riddle were reportedly involved in a verbal altercation prior to tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, according to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet.

The report notes that while details are scarce at this time, Lesnar and Riddle passed each other backstage, which led to the encounter, with Brock wanting to know the reality of the situation between himself and Riddle, with the encounter not something that was for the WWE cameras.
