WWE RAW superstar and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar has notified the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) of his decision to retire from MMA, according to a report from MMAFighting.com, however Lesnar’s camp have yet to make any official announcement regarding the matter.
The report notes that Lesnar has also been removed from the USADA drug-testing pool and that he is no longer on the UFC roster, according to USADA spokesperson Ryan Madden.
Lesnar was suspended for a year by USADA last month after he tested positive for the banned substance clomiphene prior to his UFC 200 fight and on the night of his UFC 200 fight against Mark Hunt. Lesnar won the fight via unanimous decision, however the result has since been overturned, with Lesnar also receiving a fine of $250,000.
