Former All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President and talent Cody Rhodes has signed with the WWE, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com who notes that Rhodes inked his deal to return to the company around 10-14 days ago.

The report notes that the current plan is to have Rhodes make his return WrestleMania weekend, with the early word that he will be part of the WWE RAW brand going forward.

The return to the WWE will be 36-year-old Rhodes’ first appearance since his loss to Zack Ryder on the May 20th, 2016 episode of WWE Superstars. The following day, Rhodes revealed on Twitter that he had requested his release from the company, citing frustrations with the creative department and his position within the company as the reasons for his request, with the release granted on May 22nd, 2016.
