WWE NXT UK talent were informed in a Zoom meeting earlier today that Glen Joseph, the former co-owner of PROGRESS Wrestling, has left his role as one of the show’s producers due to personal reasons, with Jim Smallman, one of the founders of PROGRESS Wrestling, promoted to the brand’s head writer, according to a report from Inside The Ropes.

Smallman, in his new role with the brand, will be reporting to Matt Bloom and Shawn Michaels, who are running things remotely from the United States due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions.

The report adds that several new talents are expected to debut on the brand soon, in both the men and women’s division, with some at the upcoming set of tapings, after they signed with the company last month, while the talents were also informed that they are no longer allowed to sell their own merchandise or make money from their names through third parties, bringing the brand in line with the changes that occurred on all brands several weeks ago.
