John Laurinaitis, who served as the WWE’s Head of Talent Relations from 2004 to 2012 has been re-appointed in the role and will report directly to WWE Executive Vice President of Operations Brad Blum, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

The report notes that while WWE have not publicly confirmed Laurinaitis’ new position with the company, which he already now holds, his new role is specified as General Manager, Talent as the WWE’s Talent Relations Department is being split into Talent Management and Talent Branding, with the latter working as somewhat of a talent agency that looks to book WWE talent for appearances, television commercials, movies and other third-party engagements.
