The first two seasons of The El Rey Network’s Lucha Underground series will be available for streaming in North America on Netflix starting on February 15th, according to the latest edition of Court Bauer’s MLW Radio, which can be heard at MLWRadio.com.

For those wondering, it should be noted that Bauer, who is a former WWE creative team member and a promoter, worked for Lucha Underground last year and at that point had been involved in a push to get Lucha Underground on Netflix, with the 65 episodes (39 in season one and 26 in season two) being the first to launch, while Season 3, which is currently on hiatus on the El Rey Network would come at a later date.

There has been some discussion within the past month in the wrestling world that the series would be leaving The El Rey Network completely for Netflix, but has been shot down. If it does however, turn out to be the case, it will be the first wrestling promotion/series hosted on Netflix. Lucha Underground is produced and distributed by United Artists Media Group with former WWE Creative team member Chris DeJoseph heading the creative aspect of the series.
