WWE have signed independent women’s wrestler Millie McKenzie to their NXT UK brand, according to news first reported by Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT.

The report notes that 20-year-old McKenzie, who worked with the brand during its early days, including being part of the tournament to crown the first-ever NXT UK Women’s Champion, will be returning to the brand near the top of the women’s division.

McKenzie’s signing is the latest in a number of signings for the brand, following the recent arrivals of Meiko Satomura, Rampage Brown, Sha Samuels and Ben Carter.

WWE recently revealed that they have also signed Metehan Kocabasoglu (better known on the independent scene as Lucky Kid), Bailey Matthews (the son of WWE NXT General Manager William Regal) and Tony Gill (the former Gursinder Singh in IMPACT Wrestling now going under the name of Rohan Raja).
