Former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis is scheduled to make his official WWE television debut as part of tonight’s WWE SmackDown Season Premiere, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com who notes that Aldis will be an authority figure on the WWE SmackDown brand going forward.

Aldis has been working in a producer role for the company since the August 7th episode of WWE RAW.
