In an update on the ROH tape library, following the news that the company will be halting events until the first quarter of 2022, a report from Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated notes that Ring Of Honor Wrestling have been privately trying to move the library, which is the Sinclair-owned archive from 2012 onward, for more than a year and that the footage would include the September 2018 All In pay-per-view, which they own the footage to, despite All Elite Wrestling owning the trademark.
The report adds that Ring Of Honor Wrestling are asking for far more than what the current market dictates and that while it once seemed like World Wrestling Entertainment would be a major factor in pursuit of the tape library, they may not pursue the option to purchase it as so many former ROH stars have since exited the company.
