WWE SmackDown superstar Sami Zayn has signed a new multi-year contract with the company, according to news first reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select.

Zayn, who has been part of the WWE since 2013, made his main roster debut in 2015 as part of John Cena’s Open Challenge for the WWE United States Championship before a full-time call-up in 2016.

Zayn’s WWE deal prior to signing a new contract was set to expire at the end of 2021, with locker room talk last month that Zayn had indeed signed some sort of new deal with the company.
