Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi have been removed from the company’s internal roster over the past 24 hours, however there has been no confirmation that Banks or Naomi have been officially released from the WWE, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that the removal from WWE’s internal roster would effectively mean that the two are no longer considered active members of the WWE’s roster, while there have been rumblings that Sasha Banks may be doing some outside of WWE signings this Fall.

Banks and Naomi were initially scheduled for the May 16th episode of WWE RAW, however after a disagreement with the company in regards to creative plans, did not appear on the show. It was announced on the May 20th episode of WWE SmackDown that Banks and Naomi were indefinitely suspended by the company and that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships had been vacated, while Banks and Naomi’s merchandise was pulled from WWE’s online shop.
