There were several contracts offers made to talents towards the end of 2020 that were said to be disappointing in comparison to deals that the company offered just one year earlier, according to a report from Fightful.

The report notes that a number of wrestlers have outright passed on these new offers, with the idea being that they will wait and see how things go before they attempt to improve their situation and that this is nothing against the WWE, but rather how things are in the real world. The report adds that the company are aware of this mindset from their talents and like them, are willing to wait to see how this plays out for wrestlers across each brand.

Reports emerged recently that WWE RAW superstar Matt Riddle signed a new deal, after his original contract was scheduled to expire, with the deal rumored to be for $400,000 per year, as well as a bonus of $50,000 for every event that he works in Saudi Arabia during each year.
