Shawn Daivari, who was let go by the WWE at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020, is at today’s WWE SmackDown and has returned to the company, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.

The report notes that Daivari, who was working in the same role at the National Wrestling Alliance’s television tapings just last week has been brought back due to a push within WWE to add more producers in order to alleviate the workload across the board as WWE ramp up a return to live events.

Since departing WWE over the past year, Daivari has made appearances for IMPACT Wrestling, Major League Wrestling and several other promotions.
