According to a report from the Super Luchas Magazine based out of Mexico, former TNA Tag Team Champion and former TNA X-Division Champion Alex Shelley has signed a contract with the WWE.

While not much else is hinted at in the report, Shelley was reported to have been in negotiations with the WWE a few months ago and wanted to bypass the developmental roster and go straight to the main roster upon his debut.

It will be interesting to see if Shelley does end up straight on the main roster, or if he’ll be utilized on the newly revamped WWE NXT before a decision is made on calling him up to RAW or SmackDown.
