Former WWE RAW commentator Tom Phillips, who as of recently had been working on the 205 Live brand has been released from his role with the company, according to news first reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.

Phillips had been with the WWE since 2012, initially conducting interviews during WWE RAW for the WWE App, which later became the WWE Network.
