WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon held a call with talent to no longer engage with third party platforms, which would potentially include the likes of Twitch and Cameo, according to a report from Raj Giri of WrestlingINC.

The report notes that Vince McMahon sent out a memo later in the week, noting that the talent would be punished for continued acts of engagement, revealing that the WWE own the real names of the talent and not just their character names with the letter stating, “Some of your are engaged with outside third parties using your name and likeness in ways that are detrimental to our company. It is imperative that these activities be terminated within the next 30 days (by Friday, October 2). Continued violations will result in fines, suspension, or termination at WWE’s discretion.”

McMahon also noted that the company are set to enter the next phase of growth and that these actions are necessary as part of the rebuilding process.
