WWE made the decision today to cancel the taping of the June 26th edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX, as they had not even started their planned television taping today, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that the talent, who we reported earlier, have been at the WWE Performance Center since between 8:30 – 9:15am this morning, have been told that they will be needed to tape on the afternoon of June 26th, meaning that the company will tape the episode just hours before it broadcasts live on FOX.

The report adds that the company are still scheduled to tape next week’s WWE RAW, next week’s WWE RAW Talk, one episode of WWE Main Event and two episodes of WWE 205 Live from the WWE Performance Center today, before taping then takes place at Full Sail University for tonight’s WWE NXT episode and next week’s show.
