WWE are interested in signing former ROH World Champion Matt Taven, however it is unknown as to whether Taven would be part of the company’s main roster, or part of the WWE NXT brand, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

The report notes that while WWE are interested in Taven, there is a belief that New Japan Pro Wrestling might also have an interest in signing Taven, Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis due to their history with the company.

In an interesting note, former ROH stars Bateman and Vincent (the latter of who recently finished up his current commitments with IMPACT Wrestling) were backstage at last night’s WWE RAW in Brooklyn, New York, however it is currently unknown as to whether WWE have an interest in signing either man.
