WWE will be making several changes to COVID-19 testing protocols, including how they test the talents on their shows and fans attending weekly NXT tapings, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

The report notes that the company will be providing free tests to fans on the day of the show due to them having quick turnaround times, while in regards to the talents who were previously tested the day prior to the tapings, allowing WWE to alter the card if anyone tested positive.

The report adds that due to the increasing number of vaccinations, that has now changed how WWE approach talents for testing, as any talent living outside the Orlando area will have to get tested in their hotel in Tampa one day prior to the tapings, while those living in or around the Orlando area will be able to get tested on the same day at the WWE Performance Center and then make their way to Tampa for the weekly show they are part of.

Additionally, WWE NXT talents are also tested on the same day of the show, as the majority of the roster currently reside in or around the Orlando area, with those living outside those areas subjected to testing the day before the weekly Tuesday show, much like the main roster talents.
