WWE are set to meet with potential buyers of the company next month in preparation for first round bids, according to a report from CNBC, who note that there is no guarantee at this time that a sale happens.

WWE’s Nick Khan revealed back in February that if a sale was to happen, it could potentially be a quick sale that would happen within a three month timeframe. Khan’s comments at the time came after WWE announced in January of this year that they had engaged with outside advisors to review strategic alternatives in relation to upcoming media rights negotiations, and that one of those strategic alternatives included a potential sale of the company which would happen before the media rights deals for both WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown are locked in.
