Several top independent wrestling stars in the United Kingdom are close to signing contracts with the WWE NXT UK brand, according to a report from Gary Cassidy of Inside The Ropes.

The report notes that NXT UK talent arrived at the UK Performance Center earlier this week for the commencement of a three-week training session prior to the next set of tapings at the BT Sport Studios and that among them are multiple talents with WWE’s intention to have a closer look at them before offering them contracts.

The report states that one name who isn’t at the camp, but has signed with the WWE NXT UK brand is former World of Sport Wrestling star Adam Maxted, while names including Sha Samuels, Aleah James, Molly Spartan and Tony Gill (formerly known as Gursinder Singh on IMPACT Wrestling) among those close to signing.
