The main event for tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, which was originally billed as a 6-Pack Challenge with the winner to earn a WWE RAW Women’s Championship opportunity was changed at the last minute to Becky Lynch vs. Asuka after two talents walked out of the show late in the day prior to the show going on the air, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.

The report notes that the word making the rounds is that WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sasha Banks took issue with some of the planned creative for the main event to determine Bianca Belair’s next challenger at the WWE Hell in a Cell event on Sunday, June 5th which led to a meeting with Vince McMahon and after McMahon’s decision to not change direction on the plans, Banks made the decision to leave the taping, which led to Naomi, who is Banks’ tag team partner also leaving the taping with her, even though she was also booked for the main event that was to feature Banks, Naomi, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H.

The report adds that this led to the WWE quickly shooting several new segments, including the Adam Pearce and Becky Lynch segment that set up Asuka vs. Lynch as the main event of the show.
