WWE made an offer for former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy to return to the company within the past several weeks, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The report notes that WWE’s Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis is said to have contacted Hardy with an improved offer, which would have included a 2022 WWE Hall of Fame induction, but that Hardy is said to have rejected the offer presented to him.
Jeff, who was released from the company in December 2021, will see his 90-day WWE non-compete clause expire on March 9th.
