In an update on WWE’s plans for the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which was originally scheduled to take place in April, but was later cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a report from WrestleVotes notes that WWE now plan to induct the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame members over WrestleMania 37 week.

The report notes that the reasoning behind the WWE’s change of plans is that the company hoped that it would be able to have the ceremony once fans returned, with talks suggesting WWE SummerSlam weekend, which didn’t happen and that with WWE having no plans to have a live audience until November at the earliest due to their current residency at the Amway Center (which has been re-christened the WWE ThunderDome), the feeling is that WWE are now going to wait off until WrestleMania 37 week in Los Angeles, California.

Those planned to be inducted as part of the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame Class are nWo (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and X-Pac), Batista, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, The British Bulldog, Jushin “Thunder” Liger and The Bella Twins (Brie Bella and Nikki Bella), with no word as to whether the WWE plan to also have 2021 WWE Hall of Fame inductees announced for the ceremony.
