WWE’s residency at the Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida will be coming to an end as of April 2nd, according to a report from Jon Alba of Spectrum Sports 360 who notes that conversion of the stadium back to the baseball setup has already begun in some areas where possible ahead of the Tampa Bay Rays beginning their regular season home game against the New York Yankees on April 9th.
There are unconfirmed reports that the company will be moving the WWE ThunderDome setup for WWE RAW, WWE SmackDown and WWE pay-per-view events to the Yuengling Center on the campus of the University of South Florida, with Alba noting that if WWE are out of Tropicana Field by April 2nd, then the feeling is that the shows for WrestleMania week will either be pre-taped ahead of WrestleMania 37 or at a different venue to be announced in the coming weeks by the company.
