River City Wrestling sent out the following:
Kids Get Fit with RCW campaign!
According to the American Heart Association, about one in three American kids and teens is overweight or obese, nearly triple the rate in 1963. Childhood obesity is the number one health concern among parents in the United States, topping drug abuse and smoking.
Join River City Wrestling, San Antonio’s brand of professional wrestling, along with The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio and Gold’s Gym in bodyslamming this epidemic. Kids Get Fit with RCW features pro wrestlers discussing and demonstrating proper nutrition and exercise techniques to our society’s most precious citizens – our children. Our heroes will guide young minds and bodies through a 45-minute session that involves basic exercise techniques and nutrition tips instructed by a RCW wrestler and a Gold’s Gym personal fitness trainer! Parents are welcome! In addition, there will be RCW and Gold’s Gym gifts for participating families! For more information about sponsoring “Kids Get Fit with RCW,” or to have this wonderful campaign visit your school, church or community center, please call (210) 842-8398.

ON THE CARD
The Main Event features one of the most epic battles in River City Wrestling history!
CHAVO GUERRERO JR. & “The Super-Mex” HERNANDEZ vs. THE HEADHUNTERS
The conclusion of the 10 Year Anniversary Show on April 14, 2012 resulted in controversy. Shelly Martinez, the beautiful and vivacious manager of the Latin American Xchange (LAX), was harassed by the legendary but vile Headhunters. Coming to her aide was LAX member, TNA superstar and RCW Co-Commissioner “The Super-Mex” Hernandez. Hernandez challenged The Headhunters to a match, but had to find a new partner. He made a call and his new partner comes from one of the most legendary families not just in Texas wrestling but in the entire industry — Chavo Guerrero Jr! Chavo is a former two-time World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Tag Team Champion, six-time Cruiserweight Champion, former Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) Champion, and a former World Championship Wrestling (WCW) Tag Team Champion. His decorated career is closely aligned with his heritage as the nephew of the late, great Eddie Guerrero. The Headhunters are legends as well. The identical twins weigh well over 400 pounds each and their arsenal includes moonsaults and moves off the top turnbuckle. The duo have been in the wrestling business for decades and have been in WWF, ECW, Japan and Mexico. This match will go down as one of the biggest in RCW history!
RCW CHAMPIONSHIP
(c) “New Style” BEN GALVAN vs. “The Man from Down Under” JINGO WALLABEE
Ben Galvan’s road to the RCW Championship has been a difficult one but he has quickly become one of RCW’s most beloved and respected champions by virtue of his dramatic victories and his dedication to sportsmanship. Jingo Wallabee was tabbed as one of the wrestlers to watch in 2012 and he is receiving this opportunity due to winning the number one contender Fatal Four-Way match on June 2. Both athletes are popular with the fans and this will be an exciting title match!
“The People’s Choice” BIG DOGG vs. “The Largeador” MICHAEL FAITH
Michael Faith’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric. At close to 400 pounds, “The Largeador” has agility that few men of his size have ever had in the history of wrestling. While the RCW Championship has managed to elude him, he has his sights on being the dominant force in RCW. McEnroe is “The People’s Choice,” a wildly-popular athlete with unlimited potential. However, he is coming into this match as a supreme underdog. Can McEnroe find a strategy to overcome the odds, or will Faith squish the two-sport star?
