WWE Hall of Famer Brian “Road Dogg” James is now working on a full-time basis with the WWE NXT brand, however his official role and title has yet to be confirmed, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

James informed the WWE last month that he was stepping down as the co-lead writer of the SmackDown brand, something he had been heading up with Stephen Guerrieri, with James going on the road and Guerrieri working out of WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Reports at the time cited James’ increasing frustration with the changes made to the SmackDown script by Vince McMahon as a reasoning for his decision to step away from his role with the SmackDown brand.
