Robert Miller, best known to professional wrestling fans as Bushwhacker Butch, passed away at the age of 78, with the news revealed by Butch’s long-time tag team partner Bushwhacker Luke on his official Facebook page.

During his wrestling career, Miller held a series of titles alongside Luke Williams. The duo held the APWF Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the Can-Am Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the CWA International Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the NWA Florida Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the NWA United States Tag Team Championships (Florida Version) on one occasion, the IWA Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the NWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the NWA Canadian Tag Team Championships (Vancouver Version) on one occasion, the NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championships on three occasions, the SCW Southwest Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the SCW World Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the NWA International Tag Team Championships (Calgary Version) on two occasions, the UCW Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the USWL Tag Team Championships on one occasion, the UWF World Tag Team Championships on two occasions, the WWA Tag Team Championships on two occasions, the WWC North American Tag Team Championship on one occasion and the WWC World Tag Team Championships on two occasions.

Miller, alongside Luke Williams were inducted as The Bushwhackers into the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame and were inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum’s Class of 2020.
