WWE RAW commentator and in-ring talent Samoa Joe was a recent guest on the WWE The Bump digital show and discussed his transition to the WWE RAW commentary desk as he continues to make his recovery from injury.

“I pretty much kind of just drift through life and just let things kind of hit me as they come. I got on the commentary table and it was funny, as when the lights shined on me and I started to hear the angels sing, I said to myself that I think this might be a good fit, I think that this might work out.

I remember I put on the headset and Vince came through and he said, I don’t know why, it feels right. I go, I know right. It’s been a really weird journey and I’m still on it, it’s a quest, I’m just trying to take the world along with me.”

Joe did not reveal any plans for an in-ring return during the interview which you can watch in full at this link. WWE The Bump airs every Wednesday at 10am Eastern on the WWE Network and other streaming platforms.
