Former WWE superstar Santino Marella will be returning to the ring next month at the August 27th Destiny Wrestling event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Marella departed the WWE back in May 2016 and has been running the Battlarts Wrestling Academy in Toronto, Ontario, Canada since then. The reason for Marella returning to the ring was due to an angle that was run last month where Destiny defeated Battlarts in a 6 Man Tag Team Match, with the stipulation being that if Destiny were victorious, that Marella would have to compete.

For those wondering, Marella will be teaming with Unified IMPACT World Champion & GFW Global Champion Alberto El Patron for that event.
