IMPACT Wrestling superstar Scarlett Bordeaux has issued a statement following an incident at AAA’s Conquista Total Gira event in Cancun, Mexico on Saturday, where a fan groped her as she rose to her feet after she took a dive to the outside during a 6 person tag team match.

The incident, which was quickly separated by Lady Shani pulling the fan away from Bordeaux, was not responded to by the security at the arena, effectively letting the person in question get away with such an incident.

Taking to her Twitter, Bordeaux stated, “It is never okay to touch a performer without their consent. I didn’t realise what happened until I watched the footage afterwards, being so in the moment after a dive with my back turned, otherwise I would have reacted much differently”.

Bordeaux followed this up by pointing out that her character and her attire are completely irrelevant and that nothing could possibly justify what happened at the event.
