WWE’s filing on a trademark for the WWE ThunderDome, nWo, Show Up And Win, as well as three filings for Wobbly Walrus were published for opposition on January 19th, according to listings on the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s website.

For those wondering, when a trademark is published for opposition, this means that any member of the public who believes that it may be damaged by the registration of the trademark, may file an opposition with the USPTO’s Trademark Trial And Appeal Board (TTAB), while a third party may also file an extension of time to oppose, if more time is required to investigate the possibility of an opposition.

The USPTO will then send a Notice Of Publication to the applicant, stating the date of publication, which then starts the 30-day period.
