Top independent wrestling talents Shane Strickland and Garza Jr. are among two of the names scheduled to report to the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday, April 9th, according to news first reported by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The report notes that Strickland has been long rumored to be heading to the WWE, but that a delay in his contract with Lucha Underground halted his signing.
Meanwhile, in the case of Garza Jr, the report notes that Garza initially signed with the company the same time that Humberto Carrillo signed, but that Garza’s deal was pulled after he failed his physical due to shoulder issues. Garza was recently offered a new deal from the company and is expected to finish up with CRASH Lucha Libre at their event this Saturday.
