In an interview with Sky Sports to promote the upcoming WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament events at the Royal Albert Hall later this month, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels was questioned to wrestling one more match and stated that he would be open to the idea, but under certain conditions.

52-year-old Michaels stated that it would have to be done the right way for him to come out of retirement and just for one match, rather than something that ran for longer, noting that while it could be possible, people would also have to accept that they would not be getting the same Showstopper and Mr. WrestleMania they were used to, stating that if he could be the Shawn Michaels of ten years ago, then he would like to get into the ring with AJ Styles, Johnny Gargano or Daniel Bryan.

Michaels also said that a tag team match, with Triple H as his tag partner would make it easier for him to return for a match, noting that he would need it to be a tag team match where Triple H and himself can just do a few crotch chops and have some fun.

Michaels has not wrestled a match since retiring after his loss to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26. The interview is available in full at this link.
