New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that David Finlay Jr, the son of former WWE United States Champion David “Fit” Finlay has joined the roster after his impressive showings in the recent Best of the Super Juniors tournament.

The belief is that Finlay Jr has signed a one-year deal with the promotion, similar to that of Cody Hall, the son of former WWE and WCW superstar Scott Hall.

Finlay Jr will continue to train at the New Japan Pro Wrestling dojo.
