In Ring Segment
IMPACT World Champion Brian Cage came to the ring and called out Michael Elgin, stating that it has taken him 14 years to stake his claim as one of the best in pro wrestling, which is why he has the gold in his hands as the IMPACT World Champion and said that Elgin took that moment from him and ruined the biggest win of his career, sending him to the hospital in the process. Cage said that Elgin sent an injured Brian Cage to the hospital, but that Elgin will find out that he can’t break this machine and that at Slammiversary, he will find out. A doctor came out to get in to the ring, however Cage attacked the doctor. Michael Elgin ran out and attacked Cage, hitting him with a bucklebomb.
