Tyson Kidd and Sami Zayn came to the ring and discussed who the better man is and who should get a shot at the WWE NXT Championship.

The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) defeated Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger. Post-match, Hideo Itami hit the ring, however The Ascension beat up Itami.
Singles Match
Tyler Breeze defeated CJ Parker. Post-match, Mojo Rawley taunted Tyler Breeze.
Tag Team Match
The Vaudevillians (Simon Gotch & Aiden English) defeated Buddy Murphy & Wesley Blake.
Singles Match
Sasha Banks defeated Bayley. Post-match, Sasha Banks continued the beatdown on Bayley. Becky Lynch came out and looked to be making the save, however she attacked Bayley and left the ring with Sasha.
WWE NXT Championship Match
Adrian Neville (c) defeated Titus O’Neil. Post-match, Sami Zayn confronted Neville on the stage and said that he’s coming for the WWE NXT Championship, however Neville brushed aside the claims and said that Sami can’t win the NXT Championship.
TAPING THREE (Airing October 30th)
#1 Contender’s Tag Team Battle Royal
The Vaudevillians (Simon Gotch & Aiden English) defeated The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor), Tye Dillinger & Jason Jordan, Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy, Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady and (according to correspondants The Mechanics of Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) to become the #1 contender. Post-match, once all teams were eliminated, The Ascension came back out and cut a promo on Hideo Itami, telling him that he needed to return to Japan as he is not wanted here. Itami came out again, but was beaten down by The Ascension.

Carmella defeated Emma.

Bull Dempsey defeated Justin Gabriel.

Baron Corbin defeated Tony Briggs. Fans actually counted the length of time it took Corbin to win the match.
In Ring Segment
Sylvester Lefort and Marcus Louis came out and had a confrontation about Louis turning his back on Lefort.

Sami Zayn defeated Titus O’Neil. Post-match, Tyler Breeze came out and cut a promo on Sami and announced that he wanted a #1 contender’s match for the NXT Championship against Zayn on next week’s show.

Sami Zayn defeated Tyler Breeze.
In Ring Segment
The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) came to the ring and called out Hideo Itami to bring out his mystery tag team partner. A graphic appeared on screen with the name “Prince Devitt”, but quickly flashed to his new in-ring name of Finn Balor, which led to the crowd going crazy and Devitt getting a huge pop. Balor & Itami destroyed The Ascension and celebrated in the ring to end the show.
